Capstan Winch with Brake

U 37-RF

Like our other winches, the dynamic braking on the U37-RF winch is done hydraulically. In addition it has a spring applied brake that eliminates any hydraulic drift when holding a load. The spring brake also provides additional protection from releasing the load in the event of a hydraulic failure.

The U37-RF has the following features:

• Spring applied, hydraulically released, multi-disc wet brake.

• Built-in counterbalance valves.

• 360 degree, 60 position rotating base. Base locks in 6 degree increments.

• Detachable rope guide.

• Reversible. Brake and counterbalance valves operate in both directions.

• Heavy duty, slow turning hydraulic motor with low operating pressure for a long life.

• All components are lubricated by hydraulic oil. No oil levels to maintain.
